anger management tips

Most people seeking anger management tips will also benefit from the program covering childhood abuse. Most uncontrolled anger is not about what is going on in the present moment. Usually something that is unresolved from the past is being activated. We may then act as if we are the age that the hurtful event happened. Or we may act in a protective way (fight or flight) to make sure that we do not get hurt like that again, even though the present threat is not the same.

Beneath anger there is always hurt and/or fear, and it is necessary to identify this so we can accurately deal with the problem. The following self-assessment, will get you on the way releasing your anger more effectively, beyond simple anger management.
