Home made exercise machine to perform Dips.
A standard medical walker makes a great compact dip home station. I picked this one up for at a garage sale. It folds and is easily stored under the bed or in the closet. Elastic bands can be used as a means to aid in the upward movement for those just starting out. No need to buy expensive Dip bars at a fitness equipment store. Throw in a doorway chin-up bar and you have two of the best upper body excercises you can do, and the best part is the cost was minimum.

Hey man, when doing any exercise you should never lock out your joints it’s just asking for joint problems, and shoulders even with elboes too if you go down farther than that your just asking for a torn rotator cuff or something.
This is a great idea and I do the same thing. In fact, I bought a really nice one at a used store yesterday. It does everything a dip station does and it’s so cool that it easily folds for easy storage. There are really lots of exercises you can do with one, including work for the triceps. Thanks for the video. Very good.

This is HILARIOUS!!! I was stranded in the hospital with my father in law for a few days and needed to get a workout in. I came up with a bunch of exercises to do using his walker. I thought it was my original idea… guess not. Good video anyway.
GREAT IDEA! I’ve been looking for something to do dips at home and I’ve had a walker that isn’t used anymore!
BRILLIANT! I had been trying to figure out how to do dips (one of my personal favorite exercises) in my apartment without hitting the gym and then i saw this! My dad’s got an old walker chillin in his closet that he never uses, now it has a use!
